1. Nod to JV for boosting rail network • Approval to formation of a JV – Assam Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd (ARIDCL) – between Govt of Assam (GoA) & Ministry of Railways (MoR) under companies Act, 2013 • GoA to hold 51% share and rest 49% by MoR • The JV boost rail network in Assam & ensure speedy implementation of ongoing projects as it will identify projects, prepare DPR & work out possible financing avenues.

2. Reduction in late payment fee • One-time scheme for reduction of fine for late payment of fitness fee for vehicles from existing Rupees 50 per day as a Covid relief measure for transport sector.lagship - 2-3 wheeler transport vehicle (Type of Vehicles) - Rupees 10 per day (Revised payable fee) - Commercial Tractor (Type of Vehicles) - Rupees 15 per day (Revised payable fee) - 4 – wheeler transport vehicle (Type of Vehicles) - Rupees 20 per day (Revised payable fee) - Heavy commercial vehicle/transport vehicle/others (Type of Vehicles) - Rupees 25 per day (Revised payable fee) • Owners may apply online within 3 months to avail the benefits.
