Promoting Urban Women Entrepreneurs Approval to guidelines for Mukhyamantri Mahila Udyamita Abhiyan- Nogoria, to be implemented by Assam State Urban Livelihood Mission Society in phases, for promotion of woman Self-Help Groups (SHGs) members as urban women entrepreneurs → Phase I • Eligible SHG members will be provided ₹10,000 as Entrepreneurship Fund (seed capital) to start their own enterprise/business venture • SHG members who already have an existing enterprise/business will also be provided the Entrepreneurship Fund to expand their existing enterprise/business or start a new one → Phase II • After proper utilisation of seed capital, a loan of minimum of 25,000 can be availed by the members from the banks, with the Government providing 50% of this amount or ₹12,500 (whichever is less) as Capital Subsidy on return of the loan → Phase III On return of loan received under Phase II, interested beneficiaries will be helped to avail individual bank credit of higher amount and on timely On repayment of the loan, Government will provide 3% interest subvention
