Recognition of Certified ITI Pass-outs -----> In order to make education more holistic and effective, approval has been granted to the recognition of certified pass-outs of ITIs as follows: 10th Standard + 2-year NTC/NAC/CITS/State Trade Certificate (STC) as HS passed 10th standard + 1-year NTC /State Trade Certificate (STC) + 1 year NAC/CITS as HS passed 8th passed + 2-year NTC/NAC/CITS/State Trade Certificate (STC) as 10th passed 8th passed + 1-year NTC/State Trade Certificate (STC) + 1 year NAC /CITS as 10th passed Benefits ---> Fulfil the objective of NEP 2020 of no rigid separation between academic streams and vocational streams Enable vocational and skilling exposure at early stages and integration of quality vocational education and skill training smoothly in to higher education Enable inter transfer of student between different Curriculums / Boards/Institutions / Universities and Education systems Encourage different models of Vocational Education and Training / Skilling and Apprenticeship by School Education and higher education institutions Promote the concept of lifelong learning by providing multiple entry and exit options across the education ecosystem
