• Promoting Tea Tourism ►Two tea tourism projects have been approved in • Lepetkata Tea Estate, Dibrugarh • Durrung Tea Estate, Sonitpur • Ensuring Land to Indigenous Communities ► To ensure no indigenous family or public institution like Mandir, Namghar, etc is deprived of Land rights, Cabinet has approved ■ Non conversion of Deochali PRF to Reserve Forest in Dibrugarh • Accepting manual applications under Mission Basundhara till 31st January for public institutions • Relief to Small Traders ► To provide relief to small vendors, Cabinet has exempted small vegetable and Paan-Tamul vendors from paying any form of fees to Mahaldar • Provincialisation of Schools ► To include genuine educational institutions established prior to 2006 who were left out from the list of Provincialised Schools, a Sub-Committee has been set up by Cabinet to study all aspects of such exclusion and suggest measures accordingly within a month for their inclusion
