* Gratitude to Hon'ble Prime Minister - Cabinet has passed a resolution expressing gratitude to Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for his guidance and support to Assam in successfully organising the Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit * Ratan Tata Electronics City, Jagiroad - In recognition of the unparalleled contribution of the Tata Group and its Chairman Emeritus, Late Shri Ratan Naval Tata (the first Assam Vaibhav awardee) himself, Cabinet has approved the naming of the entire area covered by Assam Semiconductor & Electronics Logistics Park (ASELP), Jagiroad Tata OSAT center, proposed township with the social infrastructure, as Ratan Tata Electronics City (RTEC), Jagiroad * New boost to rural entrepreneurship - Cabinet has according its approval to set up a non-profit Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) between PanIIT Alumni Reach and Assam State Rural Livelihood Mission Society (ASRLMS) called "PAN-IIT ALUMNI REACH FOR ASSAM (PARAS) FOUNDATION". - The SPV will build an institutional architecture of high quality vocational education and skill development • This will be established at a cost of ₹90 crore with 10% State Funding
