* Waiving Off Age Limit for NHM employees - Cabinet has approved removing the age limit for submission of applications for recruitment to the regular posts of Health department for NHM employees - Cabinet has also approved condonation of the age for all over-aged candidates who were allowed to appear in the recruitment examination of ANMs, Staff Nurse and Staff Nurse (Critical Care) * Amendment to Kamatapur Autonomous Council Act - Cabinet has approved the amendment of the Kamatapur Autonomous Council Act, 2020 to be placed in the Assam Legislative Assembly to include areas consisting of villages with 50% or more population of Koch Rajbongshis, SC, ST, OBC, MOBC in the Council Area - The amendment will also enhance the numbers of constituencies from 30 to 36 * New Development Block in Jonai LAC - Cabinet has approved creation of a new development block 'Simen-Sissitongani Development Block' under Jonai LAC in Dhemaji District * Strengthening Tea Garden Connectivity - Cabinet has approved ₹262cr for improvement of 207 Tea Garden Roads in 12 Districts of Assam
