• Ushering in a Clean Mining Regime - Cabinet has approved the Assam Minor Mineral Concession (Amendment) Rules, 2025 to introduce a clean way of mining in the state by seeking investment in new technologies - This initiative will make Assam the first state in the country to promote a clean way of mining which will address PM10 and PM2.5 emissions and utilize mining waste and stone dust to produce commercial goods as a byproduct • AICTE Pay Scale for BHRGFTI - Cabinet has approved sanction of AICTE Pay Scales to the lecturers and teaching staff of 'Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Regional Government Film and Television Institute' for 13 sanctioned posts including 9 incumbents of the Institute along with arrears and timescales • Conversion as Reserve Forest - Cabinet has approved conversion of Charaibaha PRF in Kamrup and Khoragaon PRF in Bongaigaon as Reserve Forests • Creation of posts of Headmasters - Cabinet has approved creation of posts for Headmaster in Elementary Schools with 50 or more students
