• Relief to Salaried Middle Class - Cabinet has approved Draft Notification to exempt payment of Professional Tax upto the salary of ₹15,000.00 for F.Y.2025-26 - Salary upto ₹15,000- NIL tax - Salary from ₹15,001-₹25,000-₹180/month - Salary of ₹25,001 and above-₹208/month • Extending Tax Relief to Tea Industry - Cabinet has approved extension of tax exemption given to the tea industry from payment of cess on green tea leaf for a further period of two years from 1st January, 2025 • Extending Forest Area - Cabinet has approved conversion of Nayekgaon Pt I PRF under BTC Kokrajhar/Haltugaon, covering a total area of 774 ha into Reserve Forest of 180 ha • Enhancing Administrative Efficiency - Cabinet has approved in-principle the initiation of the process for reorganization of Health Blocks in tandem with Co Districts and Legislative Assembly Constituency (LAC) (after delimitation)
