• Strengthening Power Sector - To strengthen the power sector in the State, Cabinet has accorded approval to - Targeted subsidy of ₹300cr to APDCL to provide tariff respite to Jeevan Dhara and Domestic-A categories of consumers for FY 2025-26 - Tariff subsidy of 200cr to APDCL to avoid hike in retail tariff during FY 2025-26 - Non-AA Financial Sanction and release of ₹244cr for acquisition of land for up-gradation and renovation of the 220 KV Grid Substation of AEGCL at Sarusajai, Guwahati • Providing Safe Drinking Water - Cabinet has approved the establishment of Lala Town Water Supply Scheme under Hailakandi PHE Division to provide uninterrupted water supply to every household in Lala Town • Empowering PFC operators as Village Level entrepreneurs - As the ARTPS services have stabilised in the State, the 362 Public Facilitation Centres have become redundant. As such, the Cabinet has approved one time grant of ₹50,000 to 746 PFC operators along with existing computer hardware to enable them to become Village Level Entrepreneurs under CSC.
