• Expanding Role of Jal Mitras as SWA-JAL Mitras - To ensure effective implementation of Swachh Bharat Mission-Gramin, Cabinet has approved involvement of Jal Mitras in the rebranded role of SWA-JAL Mitras where they will be involved in IHHL monitoring & verification, raising awareness about Waste segregation, sanitation activities etc - "A structured performance-based incentive system will be introduced alongside a monthly honorarium of ₹1000, with incentives ranging from ₹500 to ₹2,000 based on key performance indicators - The existing Water User Committees will be transformed as Water and Sanitation User Committees (WSUCS) • Ex- Gratia to Nok of Pahalgam Victims - Cabinet has approved to provide ex gratia of ₹5 lakhs to the NoKs of the deceased of the tragic Pahalgam tragedy - A Cabinet Minister will visit the houses of the deceased and handover the ex-gratia along with a letter from the Chief Minister • Boost to Industries and Employment - Cabinet has approved customised incentives under IIPA 2019 to 12 companies who signed MoUs during Advantage Assam 2.0 - These companies will together invest ₹7,730cr and generate 16,466 nos. of employment opportunities
