• Upgradation of Vivanta Guwahati - To attract tourists and enhance hospitality in the region, Cabinet has approved allotment of land to Tourism Department for expansion and upgradation of Vivanta Guwahati • Setting up of Driver Training Centres - To streamline the driving license issuance process with scientific, transparent, and standardized testing, eliminating human intervention, Cabinet has approved establishment of Accredited Driver Training Centres (ADTC) with Automated Driver Testing Tracks (ADTT) - Five ADTCs are being constructed in the State currently which are expected to be operational in the next 5 months-Dibrugarh, Nagaon, Biswanath, Barpeta and Kamrup Rural - There will be one such school in each LAC for which Transport Dept will prepare detailed guidelines • Boosting Local Economic Development - Cabinet has approved ₹21.52 crore to undertake projects under the SIDBI Cluster Development Fund to ensure balanced economic growth driven by MSMES • Amendment in MBBS/ BDS Admission Rules - Cabinet has approved revocation of the quota for Char area of the Assam MBBS/BDS Admission Rules 2017 (Amended upto 2024) from the session 2025-26 onwards
