► As Anchalik Panchayats are co-terminus with Development Blocks, reorganisation of blocks will automatically allow delimitation in the Anchalik Panchayat ▸ Delimitation of Zilla Parishad (ZP) will be carried out in the following ways ■For Rural LACS, each LAC will have 4 ZPs ■For LACs having both urban and rural population, there will be 1 ZP for every 30,000 population ► Number of Gaon Panchayats will remain same as the present number post delimitation ► GP/AP/ZP Delimitation to be completed by August 30, 2024 ► Block Reorganization post GP delimitation to be completed by September 15, 2024 ||| Supporting the Trader Community ------ ► To allay the apprehensions of the business community regarding notices served under GST, Cabinet has requested Hon'ble Ministers Smt. Ajanta Neog and Shri Ashok Singhal to hold 6 Regional Consultations ► The consultations will be held in Tinsukia, Sivasagar, Jorhat, Guwahati, Tezpur and Silchar and a report will be submitted within one month
